KEY Points
to be discussed with player
The Hitting zone for the FRONT LEG GLANCE is slightly in front of the front pad
Staying side on at impact and NOT rotating the hips or shoulders
The bat swings to the direction of the ball – however it is the top wrist which turns (angles) the bat face to direct the ball while the bat continues to move straight
The follow through does NOT tend to follow the ball (this can be difficult for beginner players to understand)
