Cricket COACHING SYSTEM
The knee will always (and can only) bend in the same direction that the toes are facing!
Proper knee bend helps balance and assists power transfer
The knee always (and can only) bend in the same direction that the toe is facing. Therefore, if a player wants to bend their knee towards the ball, they must first turn their toe towards the ball. Get the player to practice it!

FRONT DRIVE
KNEE BEND
Players need to be shown that there is a relationship between the way their knee bends and the direction that their toe is facing.
UNBALANCED
If the knee doesn't bend towards the ball, then the knee locks (stays straight) and the body will be forced to bend at the waist to try and get to the ball – this generally affects balance.
TURN THE TOE
For the player to bend their knee towards the ball, they must first turn their toe towards the ball!
