Correct STANCE
A correct STANCE is an essential part of the overall setup process. The STANCE should be comfortable and well balanced and prepares the player to receive the ball.

FEET

Place the feet so that both toes are on the line of middle stump

Feet should be about shoulder width apart with one foot placed either side of the batting crease (batting crease runs between the feet)

Weight is evenly distributed across both feet
​

Knees slightly bent allowing the weight to move slightly more towards the toes than the heel
